Approval Granted for Boeing Supplier to Construct $20 Million Plant in Vietnam

KP Aero Industries Co., Ltd., a Boeing supplier based in South Korea, has received the green light to invest $20 million in constructing a manufacturing facility in Da Nang City. The facility will be dedicated to producing components for Boeing 787 and 737 Max aircraft.

The necessary permits for this venture were issued on Thursday by the Management Board of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Other Industrial Parks.

The factory’s production line is set to include auxiliary power unit doors, wingboxes, and winglets.

Construction is slated to commence in February, with completion anticipated by the year’s end.

KP Aero Industries is a key supplier to Korean Air’s engineering division, which in turn directly supplies Boeing.

This development represents the second aerospace project at Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, following the establishment of Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam in 2019. This earlier project focuses on manufacturing and exporting aircraft parts to North America and Europe.
