Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors Experiences Changes with Resignations and New Appointments

Bamboo Airways is experiencing significant changes in its governance structure, with a series of resignations from key board members and new appointments. All five members of the Board of Directors (BoD) serving for the 2019-2024 term have submitted resignation letters, as have all three members of the Supervisory Board. Bamboo Airways has nominated seven new candidates for the Board of Directors and plans to propose the removal of the current members at the upcoming shareholders’ meeting.
The company is also preparing to elect new Supervisory Board members for the 2023-2028 term. Notable resignations include Nguyen Ngoc Trong, the first deputy CEO of Bamboo Airways, and Le Thai Sam, who holds a substantial stake in the company. Doan Huu Doan, the vice chairman of the BoD and deputy CEO, has also resigned. Bamboo Airways has appointed Nguyen Minh Hai as the new CEO, replacing Nguyen Manh Quan.
The airline is in the process of completing the ownership transition from the previous investors to new ones, which requires a significant restructuring initiative. As part of this initiative, Bamboo Airways plans to recruit highly experienced senior personnel from international airlines to enhance its capabilities.
