HCMC plans to build 7 new logistic centers

Ho Chi Minh City, the southern economic hub, has announced plans to construct seven new logistic centers by 2025. The locations include the Hi-Tech Park in Thu Duc City, Cat Lai, Long Binh, Linh Trung, Cu Chi, Hiep Phuoc, and Tan Kien. Additionally, the city will seek investment for four of these centers. To support this development, the municipal authorities will focus on improving interregional transportation connectivity, including roadways, waterways, airways, and railways.

They will also establish a centralized data storage system to digitize transportation activities, enhancing information accessibility for state agencies and enterprises and optimizing the logistics network in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas. Furthermore, the city plans to establish a center dedicated to providing advanced logistic solutions, bridging logistics businesses and solution providers, and offering training courses to enhance the skills of local small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of logistics.
