Leather factory in Binh Duong expected to generate monthly revenue of $1 million

On May 31, the Argentine leather factory “Serendipity Bros” was inaugurated in Binh Duong province with a production capacity of 600,000 square feet, which is expected to generate monthly revenue of US$1 million. The factory currently employs 15 Vietnamese workers, and plans are underway to increase the workforce to 60-70 individuals by the end of 2023.
The factory is located in Lot 397, Map No. 9, Tan Phuoc Khanh ward, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province, and covers an area of 4,118 square meters with a total investment of $300,000. The enterprise “Serendipity Bros” was established in Vietnam on August 9, 2021, and is overseen by Argentine businessman Santiago Campanera. The parent company, Donto S.A., based in Argentina, specializes in manufacturing leather covers for home and office upholstery and exports primarily to the US and Europe.
The company produces over three million square feet of leather each month and holds international quality and environmental certifications. Donto S.A. supplies raw materials to international brands such as Zara, Clark’s, Rieker, Clarice, Nine West, Rockport, Diechmann, Aldo, Ted Baker, Vagabond, Lacoste, and Superga/Kappa. The establishment of Serendipity Bros in Vietnam enables Donto S.A. to meet the demands of Vietnamese customers, fulfill both large and small orders, and reduce delivery time, thus strengthening its export capacity from Argentina.
Currently, Serendipity Bros imports salted and semi-finished leather from Argentina to Vietnam, where the final products are processed and finished according to the specific requirements of each brand, adding value through a wholly Vietnamese workforce. The company intends to collaborate with several local companies, including Tavi Co., Ltd., Rieker Vietnam Ltd., Sao Vàng Co., Ltd., Hengseng Vietnam Co., Ltd., Leather Win Shoes Co., Ltd., Gia Dinh Group JSC., Richever, Stella Group, and Orion.
