VinFast drives the green mobility revolution forward

VinFast is a relatively new player in the electric vehicle (EV) sector, but it has quickly made a name for itself through its commitment to sustainable practices and reducing emissions. At a recent Vietnam-Korea Economic Forum, a VinFast representative shared insights into the company’s operations and plans.

As part of Vingroup, which has a long history in multiple sectors, VinFast is the heart of the conglomerate’s industrial and technological activities. By 2025, the company aims to have all newly invested replacement buses running on clean energy, and by 2030, all newly invested replacement taxis running on electricity. VinFast is also set to introduce the Green Smart Mobility EV, which utilises pure electric energy and offers EV rentals, making it a pioneer in the Vietnamese market. The company is committed to supporting Decision No. 876/QD-TTg, which outlines Vietnam’s goals for sustainable transportation, and fulfilling COP26 commitments.

VinFast’s vision extends beyond Vietnam, with plans to establish its dominance in the Southeast Asian market and even venture into the Korean market. The company’s expanding presence and commitment to sustainability make it a significant player in the EV industry.
