New Technologies for Energy Transition

Mr. Chandan Singh, General Director of Hitachi Energy Vietnam

On March 28th, nearly 100 customers, including EPC contractors and companies operating in the energy transmission sector, attended Hitachi Energy Vietnam’s Partner Day event. This annual event, focusing on new technologies for energy transition, particularly highlights products and technologies geared towards sustainable development and digital transformation.

The seminars gather experts who are specialists in the Asia-Pacific region

One of the standout products aligning with the trend of “green” energy transmission is the EconiQ™ 420kV circuit breaker, which eliminates the use of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas. SF6 is one of the gases with the highest greenhouse effect and is commonly used in high-voltage switchgear to extinguish electric arcs.

Additionally, the RTU530 cabinet product received high praise from domestic customers for its competitive quality and service, especially regarding pricing, compared to competitor products.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Chandan Singh, General Director of Hitachi Energy Vietnam, mentioned that Partner Day provides an opportunity for Hitachi Energy to share insights with partners and customers regarding the trends in power transmission and seek new collaboration opportunities. It also serves as a platform for the company to listen to customer feedback to continually deliver better solutions for a sustainable energy future for everyone.
